Gig Guide

The first 20 pages of Gig Guide appeared in Crisp #3 and pages 21-30 have never previously been published. This strip was originally supposed to run to 40 pages and the concluding 20 pages of the story were meant to appear in Crisp #4 but, for a variety of reasons, there never was a Crisp #4 and the strip has never been completed. To make up for the lack of a proper ending, I have put the text for what would have been the final ten pages of the strip after page 30, so it is at least possible to read the entire story. As this story consisted mostly of text anyway, all you are really missing out on is a few illustrations. It bothers the hell out of me that I never finished drawing this strip and I may go back and finish it some time in the future, but for now I'd rather work on some new material. One of the many things that I was unhappy with about this strip when it originally appeared in Crisp #3 was the lettering and I have completely re-lettered it on the computer for its appearance here. Haven't really changed much though.

Special thanks to my good friend Rel Pinto (who I completely lost touch with about three years ago) who thought up all the fictional band names that appear on T-shirts throughout this strip, including (I think) the name Masturbatory Frenzy.
