Comics:

American Elf: The home of James Kochalka's excellent sketchbook diaries.

Maakies.Com: The website of cartoonist Tony Millionaire.  Most of his comics are here to read for free, including the very funny Maakies strips. There's usually a new Maakies every Tuesday.

Lowbright.Com: Formerly known as Smallstoriesonline.com, this is the website of cartoonist Derek Kirk Kim. Great site design, great art, funny stories. Read all his comics for free and then order a copy of his excellent book "Same Difference And Other Stories".  I did.

E-Merl: Funny and very clever web comics by Daniel Merlin Goodbrey.

Book Of Lists:  Paul Rainey's Book Of Lists has fast become one of my favourite web-comics sites and I strongly recommend that you check it out.  Paul adds a new panel every day and is even giving away free comics, so what are you waiting for?

Viz: The site of the British humour comic, not the manga people. Worth checking out their site, if only for the Roger Mellie Hangman game.

Hocus Baloney: The online portfolio of British cartoonist / illustrator Mark Stafford. He may not have internet access but he's somehow managed to get himself two websites (he has another mini-site over at the Bugpowder site).

Stupidmonsters: The stripblog of British small press (and now Beano) cartoonist Gary Northfield.

Zum: Small-press reviews.

Comics Related:

The Comics Journal: Bring back Journalista!!!

Fantagraphics: When they say publisher of the world's greatest cartoonists, they ain't joking (unless you count all that Eros stuff, in which case they're filth merchants).

Bugpowder: Excellent British small press site.

Newsarama: Mostly mainstream (superhero) news but occasionally worth a look.

Comic Book Resources: See above.

Non-Comics:

XFM: Great London radio station that you can listen to online wherever you are. Note: Since I put this link to XFM on my site I have hardly listened to the station at all and these days I seem to mostly listen to archived shows on BBC Radio 2.  What a boring old git I am!

Sonic Youth: The purpose of this link is to make me look cool for liking Sonic Youth (although it's probably not cool to like them anymore anyway, so now I must look even less cool than I did before).

Friends:

Jan Kalinski: Collating obsessions such as comic art, zen, music, and underground cartoon behaviour, it's Zen-Pilot, friend of Hocus Baloney.  Don't expect to understand it.
