| I originally drew the first two Colin The Rhino strips way back in 1992 but the lettering was a bit of a mess so I re-drew them in 1997 / 1998 when they appeared in Crisp issues 1 and 2. The third Colin strip was drawn in 1998 and first appeared in Crisp #3. Like pretty much everything else on this site, these three Colin strips have now been re-lettered on the computer for no good reason that I can think of. The fourth Colin strip presented here, "Merry Bleedin' Christmas", was drawn only a few of months ago for a Christmas card and it's way too soon for me to think about re-lettering that just yet. These strips were inexplicably popular at the time and, believe it or not, were actually supposed to be going somewhere. I will be continuing to document the final few months in the life of Colin The Adorable Baby Rhino in my new Modern Tales strip. |
